San Diego Pagan Pride thanks you!!

The committee of San Diego Pagan Pride would like to take a minute to thank all of those who attended our Wine Tasting Fundraiser this last Saturday night. You guys rock!! Not only did we very nearly sell out of tickets, but our ever-popular silent auction brought in almost $430.00! As we were nearing the date of the fundraiser we had a feeling that we might sell out. Boy, were we close!

Wine Tasting Fund-raiser

Our annual wine tasting fund-raiser on Saturday has come and gone and whoa what a blast! The people, the chit-chat, the wines, the prizes; an all-around pleasant evening.

Our thanks go to our sponsors and to everyone who came by to party.

Our special thanks go to Wine Steals and to our lovely and talented sommelier, Jen.

It's going to be a busy year for SDPP!

So our next SDPP Committee meeting is on December 30th. We've already got a lot of stuff lined up and we're going to need more help, I can already tell. I really hope people feel free to come and join us. The more input we have from the community, the better our event will be. Even if someone can't make every single meeting, we can always find stuff for them to do from home!

Guess who we're lining up for SDPP 2008?

Ok, so The Village Witch headed up to Los Angeles for the Pagan Days Festival over Thanksgiving weekend where we were vending. What a great group of people and we're already planning to go back next year!

We're already working!

Man, we really have got our stuff together this year. We've already got our site permit, rituals booked, vendors committed to participate and lots of cool workshops coming! Hey, there's even talk of a llama presentation! This is just going to be so cool.

Pagan Pride Day

Wow!! San Diego Pagan Pride was incredible this year! By the park's estimation, we had anywhere from 450 to 500 people his time. Yes folks, that means that we're growing and our community is coming together.

Lunar Eclipse 28 Aug

There will be a total lunar eclipse on 28 August 2007.

The event begins 54 minutes past midnight PDT (0754 UT) on August 28th when the Moon enters Earth's shadow.

Many Thanks to Local Area Businesses

A lot of work goes into planning and preparing for an event like Pagan Pride. Money has to be raised to cover the cost of all of the expenses, time is put in to finding vendors and entertainers, materials are gathered and plans are made to have fun projects for kids to participate in, etc, etc.
